Hilary Duff and the Gerard Darel Santa Fé Studded Midday Midnight "24 Hours" Bag

Gerard Darel handbags are certainly a mouthful. Well, their names are at least. That doesn't stop celebrities from scooping up Darel's chic, 'I'm-cool-without-trying-to-be' bags. Hilary Duff switched things up recently when she decided to leave her trusty black Hermés Birkin at home in order to step out with a Santa Fé Studded Midday Midnight "24 Hours" Bag. A trendier version of Darel's most sought-after design, the studded Santa Fé, seen here in washed purple suede, retails for $750 and features a front dual-zippered pocket, roomy main interior compartment (15 x 16 x 4) and single shoulder strap with a comfortable 13" drop. While many would baulk at the mere suggestion of replacing a Birkin with a bag like this, the relaxed, youthful look of the Darel design is a more appropriate foil for Hilary's casual "running errands" outfit. It's unlikely you'll score Ms. Duff's exact purple 'Santa Fé' bag online, so I hope you'll be satisfied with a brown version currently available at shoprumor.com.
